Not a book but a double album, comprising a pair of 12-inch, 33-1/3 rpm stereo vinyl discs in a cardboard jacket which is not merely a gatefold but which actually folds out into a 24 X 24-inch poster (a rather uninspired pastiche of candid B&W photos plus a few colorful clowns), A&M Records AMLS 6002, very-good-plus vinyl in a very-good jacket. Recorded 27th and 28th March, 1970, at the Fillmore East. A film, this album (featuring at least 11 singers and 10 musicians) and the single "The Letter" / "Space Captain" reportedly resulted. Includes "Honky Tonk Women" (Jagger-Richard, and the disc label now corrected from "Honky Tonk Woman"), Isaac Hayes' "When Something Is Wrong With My Baby"; Bob Dylan's "Girl From The North Country"; Russell & Bramlett's "Give Peace a Chance"; Wayne Carson Thompson's "The Letter," and of course "She Came In Through the Bathroom Window." Etc. Reduced from $14.
