Neuware -This work is addressed to all people who with one way or another are educators and the effort is to establish a framework of scientific bases according to the equilibrium rules of Nature to help advance education in the 21st century. The focus in this work is human mind because all human actions and resulting human behaviour are initiated and executed through human mind. Furthermore, human mind is hosted within human brain, a neuron based structure, and neuron networks as they are simulated in a computer are studied to understand how human brain works. A basic function of neurons is to hold programming instructions resulting to data processing forming parallel computer system architecture. Such programming instructions which may be called genetic software are developed through pregnancy to run most vital organs in the human body and to initiate the mind -talent- process and the motion process. Therefore, mind and motion software are continuously developed through the life of a person, thus education is approached as the effort to develop a virtuous mind with optimum constructive performance capable to defend any external programming -propaganda- invasion for destructive purposes.Books on Demand GmbH, Überseering 33, 22297 Hamburg 140 pp. Englisch.

This book is addressed to students and professionals, and it is aimed to cover as much as possible the broader region of topographic mapping as it has evolved into a modern field called geospatial information science and technology. More emphasis is placed on using scientific methods and tools materialized in algorithms and software to produce practical results. For this reason, beyond the written material, there are also many educational and professional software programs written by the first author to help comprehend the individual methodologies developed. The Target of this book is to provide the people who work in fields of applications of topographic mapping (environment, geology, geography, cartography, engineering, geotechnical, agriculture, forestry, geointelligence, etc.) a source of knowledge for the broader region so that to help them in facing relevant problems as well as in preparing contracts and specifications for such type of work assigned to professionals and evaluating such contracting results. It also aims to be a reference for theory and practice for professionals in Topographic Mapping. This book applies a didactics method where, with a relatively small effort, someone can digest a large volume of simple or complicated knowledge material at a desirable scientific depth within a relatively short time interval. The objective that educated people must be "smarter than the machine" and not treat the machine as a "black box" being "button pushers" has been achieved through the first author's experience in the USA and Greece, with relative success by adopting this didactics technique. There are 14 chapters, including Reference systems and Projections, Topographic instruments and Geometry of coordinates, Conventional construction of a topographic map, Design and reproduction of a thematic map, Digital Topographic mapping - GIS, Digital Terrain Models (DTM / DEM), GPS/GNSS, methods of Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, new technologies LIDAR, IFSAR, Augmented reality, Mapping with UAS/UAV/Drones, the method of Least Squares adjustment, and Description of educational software accompanying the text. Shipping may be from our Sydney, NSW warehouse or from our UK or US warehouse, depending on stock availability.

This book is for students and professionals involved in Geospatial Computations and related areas such as Geomatics, Surveying Engineering, Geoinformatics, Geospatial Information Science and Technology (GIS&T), Geography, Geology, Agriculture, and Geointelligence. More emphasis is given to using scientific methods and tools materialized in algorithms and software to produce practical results. Specifically, algorithms such as error analysis of measurements and the least squares adjustment method to obtain ground coordinates of points with their reliability to construct the geometric framework of the geographical space necessary for various geospatial applications such as a Geographic Information System (GIS) are discussed. Other algorithms involve interpolation methods for DEM and spatial data analysis. Furthermore, such algorithms in the geospatial area are basic surveying methods using a total station, photogrammetry, digital terrain modeling, GNSS, augmented reality, coordinate transformations, map projections, and interpolation. Most algorithms are implemented into 27 educational computer programs and necessary data to understand GIS&T operations from the inside with a didactics approach targeting to become more intelligent than machines. The educational programs include general photogrammetric operations with aerial photography and drones, 3-D surveying network adjustment, GNSS navigation solutions, and many others. This approach helps to obtain high-quality scientific and technological bases, which in turn enhance the ability to exploit and use most tools and functions of existing GIS&T systems and, therefore, to be highly competitive as a professional in the market. This book has ten chapters such as Measurements and Errors Estimation and Accuracy Standards, Specialized Numerical Methods, Error Propagation & Least Squares Adjustment, Condition Method and Generalized Least Squares, Applications to Map Projections and Transformation of Coordinates, Applications to Surveying Networks, Applications of Computational Methods in Photogrammetry, Digital Elevation Models (DEM), Computer Programming--Scripting & AI. This book is for students and professionals involved in Geospatial Computations and related areas. More emphasis is given to using scientific methods and tools materialized in algorithms and software to produce practical results.
