Contains all twelve original Long-Playing 33 1/3 records, each in their own original printed black paper sleeve. Stored in the pocket in the attache case is the book with a description of the readings on each record and a preface by Goddard Lieberson. The sound quality is excellent. There is a surface scratch in the middle of Christopher Isherwood Side 2 that causes an audible tick for a few minutes but does not cause the content to skip. Please note that these recordings are monaural and were recorded in the days before Stereo sound. A few of the black printed sleeves have small tears along the edges and the leather attache case is missing the original leather closing snaps. Otherwise in excellent condition. Etat : Very Good. Collection of 12 spoken word recordings, each in an individual sleeve, housed in a leather attache case. Includes the book which lists all the recordings and describes the contents of each. The book is in excellent condition, each disk with its own black printed sleeve except for 'Three Fat Women of Antibes' - S. Maugham, which appears to be a different issue, in a plastic sleeve. The original disk belonging to this set must have been lost and this was purchased later to complete this set. All the disks are in excellent condition. The leather attache case is rubbed and scuffed at the corners, and missing the leather clasps. Overall in very good condition.
