The western cultures really affected the Gwong traditional marriage and its theatricality. The Gwong marriage, anywhere, is ritualized for several purposes. It was theatricalized for the purpose of entertainment and sustaining the marriage, like said earlier, it can be said that theatricality is indeed a concrete and fundamental invention to institute a marriage system that is lasting and meaningful.
