Penguin paperback,includes Limericks,Nonsense songs,A Nonsense Story,Nonsense Cookery,and two Alphabets,illustrated throughout by Lear.Usual penguin format of the period,yellow and white banded cover with penguin logo and lear illustration on the front.This book was originally issued with a dust wrapper which is not present,however the front and back turn-ins,which have separated from the rest of the wrapper are present and are tucked in the back.One bears a short biography of Lear plus a small photo portrait,and the other a description of the book itself,price is unclipped,6d.The book has a chip from the back cover and the page edges are browned but it is otherwise quite good.
