The findings are placed in the context of contemporary theories of organizations and individual behaviour and lead to suggestions for improvement that are new. can be implemented without additional expense and are founded on research. The book has three characteristics. The first is a survey of behavioural science literature and is new or different only in its breadth. The two other characteristics are new. The first is an explicit use of the functional analysis of behaviour.
