A proof copy of his review is laid in, as is a Typed Letter Signed [TLS] from Blanck thanking Wright for his favorable review. Blanck's letter continues: "And now it's Vol. V: Washington Irving to Cornelius Mathews. and my only comment is that if anyone thinks Ingraham was tough then he ought to tackle Irving who, as you certainly know, is triple distilled headache. and that goddammed and so called bibliography by Langfeld and Blackburn is mere aggravation. And when are you coming out with 1876-1900? Your public is waiting --- what the hell goes on?"
