Very good with creasing to the corner and typical mailing crease, stamp and hand written address to theater director (likely by di Prima). An influential mimeograph created by di Prima and LeRoi Jones featuring some of the most important poets of the 20th Century. Unlike other magazines, this so-called "newsletter" was distributed via a mailing list, many of which were noted poets, journalists, critics, publishers and artists. For this reason, most copies were hand addressed or affixed with a mailing label and stamp, and folded for mailing. An issue is guest edited by William [Bill] Linich, later known as Billy Name, who was a friend of Andy Warhol, as well as di Prima. Linich became the primary photographer at The Factory after Warhol starting making films, including "Billy Linich's Party" which is reviewed in this issue by John Daley. Additional contributors include Philip Whalen, Ray Johnson, Alan Marlowe, and Michael Rumaker.

Issue also includes a brief advertisement for the Fluxus Anthology (available from LaMonte Young) as well as one for a tape of Young with Angus MacLise, Tony Conrad, and Marian Zazeela. This issue's "guest editor" was Bill Linich, later known as Billy Name, who was a friend of Andy Warhol, as well as *Floating Bear* editor, Diane di Prima. Linich became the primary photographer at The Factory after Warhol starting making films. This issue includes a letter from John [Daley] to Linich packed with in-jokes concerning regulars to The Factory.

Corner-stapled, mimeograph. The final issue of di Prima's influential little magazine and newsletter before she adopted the practice of including a cover. Per the mailing address on the front, this copy from the library of Danny Moore, likely the poet Daniel Abdal-Hayy Moore, who would convert to the Sufi tradition of Islam in 1970. Someone, presumably Moore, has drawn a doodle in pen on the first page, under Lewis Welch's name in the title of Philip Whalen's poem. This copy was obtained by the bookseller Laurence McGilvery during the publication process of his facsimile edition of The Floating Bear. To create the facsimile, McGilvery removed the staples of the issues used, though this issue remains bound, suggesting it was not used to produce the facsimile. This issue produced by di Prima in collaboration with William Linich, better known as Billy Name. Contributors include: Philip Whalen (whose work comprises the majority of the issue), "aquarian," Ray Johnson, Alan Marlowe, Michael Rumaker, John Daley, and a contribution from "The Journal of an I.R.S. Agent." Good, with the expected fold from mailing, toning, some stains on the back cover, and a 1 in. closed tear at the top left-hand corner of the first page.
