Front endpaper has been removed. Hinges heavily cracked and loose overall. All pages slightly warped. Text block edges are uneven. Boards have heavy edge wear, with intense bumping and peeling to corners, while spine ends are very crushed and frayed. Joints worn too with heavy splits and peeling. Very scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Gilt titles basically illegible.

Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Book has a slight forward lean. Board corners are bumped.

Paper is foxed and tanned and there are three ink signatures of previous owners, including one on the title page. Overall quite good.
