Publisher's blue cloth with lovely Art Nouveau style illustrations to upper board and spine in blue, red, black and gilt. Prize paste down to fep dated 1937. Corners a little knocked ; spine ends softened and two very small splits in the cloth at the head of the spine. The text block has some age; there is one loose but complete page loose; full page glossy illustration by Harold Copping. Mother and Father are to go to India and the children are to be left with the old governess in London and attend a day school instead of the country life and home schooling they had been used to.
