Relation des voyages du WIESSE de MARMONT, Duc de Raguse en Europe, Égypte, Turquie, Syrie, etc., avec le rare 5éme tome lié à la Sicile. Marmont (1774-1852) était un général et noble français qui fut élevé au rang de maréchal de France par Napoléon, fut fait chevalier de l'Ordre du Saint-Esprit et Grand Officier de l'Ordre de Saint-Louis par Louis XVIII et reçut le titre de duc de Raguse. Il reste fidèle à Louis XVIII durant les Cent-Jours. Après la Révolution de Juillet, il accompagna le roi en exil. Son désir de revenir en France ne fut jamais satisfait et il voyagea en Europe centrale et orientale ainsi qu'au Moyen-Orient pour finalement s'installer à Vienne. Il mourut à Venise.
