The eighth issue of Ambit Magazine - a collection of poetry, short stories and criticism together with drawings by Patrick Riley. This issue was the first to welcome Edwin Brock as Poetry Editor of the magazine. He introduces a 23 year-old Liverpool poet, Roger McGough, as a contributor. McGough's famous poem Is This Your Last Summer? contains humour and pathos as he describes an old woman sitting on the beach at Blackpool. Turquoise and black covers. Staple bound.
