Scarce book by enigmatic Table Tennis player Marty Reisman, who's life serves as inspiration for the forthcoming film by Benny Safdie starring Timothee Chalamet called "Marty Supreme." This copy signed and inscribed by Marty Resiman to a couple of NYU professors. Overall excellent copy. Binding is solid, sturdy, square. Interior is clean and free of any marks or damage, besides the lengthy pen inscription to the front free endpaper. Dustjacket generally very nice: there is a fold / crease to the inner flap, though this is now straightened / flattened out under brodart. Small tears at the foot and head of the DJ spine, which has corresponding elements to the cloth underneath, wherein there is a dust stain at the foot of the spine, and a small tear to the cloth at the crown. No damage to integrity of binding, and underneath the DJ and brodart all looks quite sharp ! A nice overall copy of this rare book, here signed by the author, soon to be even more desirable by nature of the upcoming film.
