With notes from various authors, and with some account of the life and writings of Milton, derived from original documents in Her Majesty's State-Paper Office. Edited by the Rev. Henry John Todd, an English cleric and librarian at Lambeth Palace. Bound in full mottled calf. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and rubbing to the extremities. Light fading to the spines and the odd mark to the front board of volume two. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot. Age toning to the endpapers with light tide marks to the front endpapers of volume one. Contemporary ink inscriptions to the front endpaper of volume one dated 1848. Very Good. book.
