Ajouter au panierOriginal wraps. Etat : Very Good. First Edition, First Printing. 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 Inches. Original stapled wraps. Program for the original first performance of the Rock Opera 'Tommy' by The Who in America. Full of ads as well as the short bio of the bandmembers of The Who and the program of events for the show. An original copy! Magazine has a slight fold mark down the middle from top to bottom, which looks like it might have come from being put in a back pocket the night of the show. A bit of creasing here and there, but overall a sound (no pun intended) copy in collectible condition.

Ajouter au panierOriginal album of this iconic work, boldly signed by legendary musician Pete Townshend on the front panel. In very good condition. Record is included. Magic Bus: The Who on Tour is a 1968 compilation album by the British rock band The Who, released exclusively in the United States by Decca Records. Despite the titleâs implication of a live performance, the album does not feature concert recordings; rather, it assembles previously released studio tracks from earlier albums and singles, such as âRun Run Run,â âDoctor, Doctor,â and the hit single âMagic Bus.â Issued to capitalize on the commercial momentum generated by the success of that single, the compilation served as a marketing strategy to sustain The Whoâs growing popularity in the American market. While not considered part of the bandâs core discography by the members themselves, Magic Bus: The Who on Tour remains an interesting artifact of late-1960s rock culture and the record industryâs efforts to package and promote British Invasion artists to a transatlantic audience.
