This medium-sized hard cover book (7 ½ x 10 ¼ inches, 301 pages) was published by Tilbury House of Gardiner, Maine and the Maine Maritime Museum of Bath Maine dated July 2001 and the First Printing (so stated). The book is inscribed by Nicholas Dean on the title page. It is bound in blue cloth with white titles on the spine and protected by a pictorial dust jacket. The book includes the story of the expedition to the Falkland Islands in the 1980 s just after the Falkland War to rescue pieces of the wreck of the Snow Squall. As noted on the flap of the dust jacket, Snow Squall s maritime story is illustrated with contemporary photographs, illustrations and charts while the expedition accounts feature photographs and a set of measured drawings. Condition: This book is in near fine condition. The dust jacket has some very minor edge wear and the hard covers are pristine and handsome. Inside the only mark I found is the Author s inscription on the title page; the interior pages are bright and clean and without toning or foxing. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder. Signed by Author.
