A note about the dust jackets for this series -- beginning with the publication of Genesis in 1964, the books were published as they were completed. Up u…ntil 1972, the jackets were all the same -- a simple graphic design by George Giusti showing the Anchor symbol on a cream colored background. After that time though, the covers were greatly transformed -- they came alive with outstanding works from various artists. This is Volume 7 in the Anchor Bible series of book by book translations of the Bible.
