Limited edition only 2000 copies with only 250 copies being the deluxe edition like this one with gilt edging. Year 1968. Hardcover. English. See images for condition. About the book >.>.> Is my position as secretary to Mr. David Spink I have had the good fortune of handling many hundreds of glass paperweights and objects such as vases, wafer stands, match holders, etc. and any knowledge I have of them I owe almost entirely to Mr. Spink whose help and guidance I have enjoyed for many years. Over these years I have become more and more fascinated by the unlimited variety of these colourful examples of a delicate craft which flourished in the years 1845 to 1850. Each year more and more people, the rich and also those of modest means, start collecting them and are eager to acquire a book on the subject but are unable to get one, as the excellent books written by Mrs. Bergstrom, R. Imbert et Y. Amic, and more recently, by Mr. Paul Jokelson, are now difficult to come by. It is for this reason I decided to write about the various types I have seen or are recorded in priv.
