Illustrated throughout in color by Marguerite Davis. Near fine bright copy with just a hint of edge wear without dust jacket. Marguerite Davis (1890 - 1978) also wrote childrenÕs stories and editorial pieces for popular national publications like CollierÕs, St. Nicholas, and the WomenÕs Home Companion. She was one of the earliest members and leaders of the Camp Fire Girls and served on various cultural and historical groups, including the Daughters of Civil War Veterans.
