Prima edizione italiana del Recueil de décorations intérieures (1812), fondamentale repertorio sulla decorazione d'interno che concorse in modo decisivo alla codificazione e alla diffusione in Europa dello Stile Impero, in parte inventato dagli stessi Percier e Fontaine, architetti ufficiali di Napoleone. Sono 72 tavole piene d'ogni sorta di elegantissimi disegni, presi dall'antico, e accozzati con un gusto infinito, eseguiti con tutta la precisione, e accompagnati da spiegazioni in un testo ben succinto, e ben chiaro: opera utile ad ogni ramo delle Arti (Cicognara).
