A Rare opportunity to obtain the intimate biography of Miller's close friend that is signed by both Perles and Miller on a label affixed to the title page. Inscribed by Henry Miller to the recipient on the front endpaper (inscription not signed). Laid in is one Autographed Letter Signed and one Post Card signed by Henry Miller to the book's recipient, Dr. Liebmann of New York. Both dated January 1956. There is also an address label which presumably was affixed to the package containing the book sent by Miller and possibly in his hand. A Near Fine UK 1st Ed in dark blue cloth with bright gilt titles on the spine. In the complete jacket which shows light wear / chipping to extremities, but now in acetate sleeve, original price of 16s. net intact. Signed by Author(s).
