This is the true first edition and scarce thus; it was later enlarged to cover Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard and published in 1898. This is a near fine copy with just a few smudges on… the cover but quite unworn and no owner names. Offsetting to first free end paper where a piece of paper once lay.
