Ajouter au panierHardcover. Etat : Good +. 3 vols.: xv, 376; xviii, 404; xi, 537 p. 24 cm. Over 600 b&w illustrations of aircraft and servicemen. Blue cloth hardcovers in mylar-covered dustjackets. Ink signatures or inscriptions on front free endpapers of first 2 vols. Spine ends softened with small tears. A little fading or discolouration to spine cloth, esp. vol. 3. A comprehensive look at the RCAF's activities during the Second World War. The volumes covers events such as the Battle of Britain, the air offensive over northern France, fighter operations after Dieppe, convoy patrols and interceptions, the Battle of the Atlantic, preparations for invasion, the Italian Campaign, etc. The Fifth Year and The Sixth Year were printed in smaller numbers, making them scarcer, so that a complete set is hard to acquire.
