Annan, Charles Preston, and Messrs. T. Booker and Co. Sir Walter Armstrong (1850-1918) was a British art historian and author, and Director of the National Gallery, Ireland. Robert Alan Mombray Stevenson was a well-know and popular artist and a cousin of Robert Louis Stevenson. Sir Henry Raeburn (1756-1823) was a Scottish portrait painter and Scotland's first significant portrait painter since the Union to remain based in Scotland.
