Four Octavos (25.5cm); no. 1 has blue cloth-covered boards with paper title label on front cover; no. 2 has white paper wrappers; no. 2 and no. 3/4 have red cloth-covered boards; dustjackets; 311pp; 345pp; 345pp; 415pp; colorful and black-and-white illustrations. Cloth-issue of no. 2 has pictorial bookplate of contributor and noted anthropologist Nathaniel Tarn (1928-2024) to front pastedown. While other issues not explicitly marked as such, these are all from the library of Tarn, with his pencilled marking to table of contents in no. 1. All four issues have light shelf-wear and -soil, with trace foxing to edges of textblock of no. 1, and light scratches to final page of softcover no. 2; overall Very Good. Dustwrappers of no. 1 and softcover no. 2, both unclipped, with trivial surface wear; overall Very Good+. Dustwrapper of no. 3/4 has light wear to spine ends; Very Good. Octavo hardcovers in their original cloth, each volume with different color, pastedowns to the boards the publisher-issued clear acetate jackets. Limited to one of 50 copies of each autograph edition, complete run. Originally published as staplebound pamplets and bound here by the publisher in multi-colored cloth with each author (still living at the time of publication) signing the cover of their respective pamphlet. Publisher's compliments card laid in. Sparrow 61-72 with previous owner's embossed stamp on front free endpaper. Some tears to the acetate jackets but books themselves are near fine.
