Written by the wife of George "Florida" Roberts, a commercial fisherman and sport fishing guide, this is a gritty account of their lives in Florida, and later in Port Aransas, Texas, living very much hand-to-mouth, raising a family, surviving storms, financial disasters, her husband's bad business decisions, etc. Sport fishing throughout. "George caught his first tarpon fishing off the dock at St. Petersburg in 1891.Not until 1907.did he take anyone out to fish for tarpon.he did not quit counting them until he passed 7,500 tarpon". Very good in very good wrapper.
