1st Printing. 8vo. 120pp., foreword by Andre Pieyre de Mandiargues, preface by Jean-Jacques Pauvert. Originally published in France in 1928, the writing alternates between straightforward erotic description and poetic writing reminiscent both of the prose-poetry of Lautreamont and the rage of Artaud's late writings. From the library of Patrick J. Kearney, with his small name sticker at the bottom of the front pastedown. GP574. Cloth in dust jacket. Light shelfwear; jacket price-clipped, front flap creased. Very Good.

> En cas de problème de commande, veuillez nous contacter par notre page d'accueil / If you have any problems with your order please contact us via our homepage <.

8vo. xiii, 7-126pp. Original wrappers. Preface de J. J. Pauvert. This is the second edition of this work from this publisher. The first was suppressed by legal action for the ludicrous reason that it was issued without an author's name being provided, hence the use of the pseudonym 'Albert de Routisie' here. This important Surrealist text, called originally Le con d'Irène, was first published in 1928 by René Bonnel, with illustrations by André Masson. From the collection of Patrick J. Kearney, with his bookplate to the verso of the front cover. Original wrappers. Light shelfwear, small chip to top of spine, mild tanning to wraps. Very Good.
