Based on the 1953 novel by Audrey Erskine Lindop. A Catholic priest is sent to establish a parish in a rural Mexican town under the control of a ruthless but educated bandit. Set in Mexico, shot on location in Spain. Blue titled wrappers, noted as SHOOTING SCRIPT on the front wrapper, dated 15-3-60. Title page present, noted as SHOOTING SCRIPT, dated 18th March, 1960, with credits for screenwriter Nigel Balchin. 105 leaves, with last page of text numbered 104.
