This is an apologetic right-wing extremist account of the Nazi deputy leader's doomed mission to get Britain to conclude peace with the monster, Hitler, in May 1941 (by which time, Jewish ghettoes in Poland had been created by the Nazis and the Einzatsgruppen were ready to follow the troops in the Nazi invasion of Russia and to commence their large-scale massacres of innocent Jews. (Can any sensible person believe the Nazi Deputy Fuehrer, Hess, was seeking to prevent the Holocaust before his flight?). Hess's wife wrote her slanted description of those immediate days, while some of Hess's obnoxious letters from prison are reproduced. Plates. 151 pages. Tanning on inside back page. Quoted postage for UK 2nd class. Overseas at least £7.20.
