Although unfortunately without any indicative markings, this book was among a collection of Henry Bellamann (aka Heinrich Bellamann, 1882-1945) and Katherine Bellamann (1877-1956) material obtained from a family descendant. Novelist, poet, and music professor Henry Bellamann is best known for his 1940 novel KINGS ROW. Bellamann enjoyed teaching and/or administrative positions at South Carolina's Chicora College from 1907 to 1924 thereafter employed at Julliard, Curtis Institute of Music, and Vassar College. His papers and those of his wife Katherine Jones Bellamann, a noted poet and author in her own right, are held by the University of Mississippi J.D. Williams Library Special Collections.
