Ego tvorchestvo stoit na granitse XIX i XX vekov ne tolko khronologicheski: zavershaja velikij romanticheskij vek, ono odnovremenno smotrit v buduschee. Skrjabin - osobyj fenomen, zadajuschij istorii muzyki bolshe zagadok, nezheli predlagaet otvetov. Kompozitor sozdal svoju sobstvennuju garmonicheskuju sistemu. Obladaja "tsvetnym slukhom" (razlichnye akkordy i tonalnosti assotsiirovalis u Skrjabina s razlichnymi tsvetami), kompozitor vpervye v istorii muzyki vvel v nekotorye partitury stroku "Luce" - "svet", - sozdav tem samym pervye svetomuzykalnye proizvedenija. Bolee togo, Skrjabin rassmatrival svoe sobstvenno muzykalnoe tvorchestvo ne kak samotsennoe javlenie, no kak sredstvo misterialnogo soedinenija Mirovogo Dukha s Materiej - vo imja sotvorenija novogo mira. Obajanie Skrjabina-pianista otmechali mnogie ego sovremenniki: "On kasalsja klavish slovno potselujami, i ego virtuoznaja pedal obvolakivala eti zvuki slojami kakikh-to strannykh otzvukov, kotorykh nikto posle iz pianistov ne mog vosproizvesti. V silnykh mestakh on byl izumitelno nerven, i eta nervnost dejstvovala kak elektricheskij tok". (L. Sabaneev.) Rannie sochinenija Skrjabina lezhat v rusle romanticheskogo fortepiano: v liricheskikh pesakh zapechatlen krug nastroenij ot mjagkoj mechtatelnosti do strastnoj patetiki. Osobenno zametno vlijanie traditsii Shopena. Kontsert dlja fortepiano s orkestrom fa-diez minor, soch. 20, napisan v 1896-1897 godakh. Twenty years lay between his First and Tenth Sonatas. It occured to be the age satiated with impetuous fruitful ideas, leading the composer sometimes to new contrasting spiritual aims. The sonata-symphonic structure attracted Skriabin by its inner diversity and capacity, able to embody discrepant unity. Skriabin was the true composer-pianist. Therefore he interpreted the sonata structure rather random, as if being begotten again and again. Those were his philosophical and symbolic conceptions to have become his guides both in life and art. The last five sonatas (No 6-10) are marked by their evident connection with Skriabin's last completed score of "Prometheus" (1910) so as the unrealized plot of the "Mystery". Here the composer resorts to his own discoveries in the sphere of thematical elaboration and harmony. The Sonata No 7 op. 64 was created together with the Sixth one during the period of 1911-1912. Here the spirit of novelty pierces the "whole composition rather consecutively by their logic", as the contemporaries noticed. The Seventh was firstly performed on February 24, 1912. Skriabin himself played it in Moscow. 9790660006221.

Yevgeniy Gunst, Skriabin's friend and researcher described the Third Sonata as the culmination of his creation. There exists the programme to this Sonata, which is sometimes called the author's one. Nowadays it was discovered that this programme belongs to Tatiana Schkoozer, composer's second wife. However, the French text appeared long time after the Sonata's coming into being. The Sonata's premiere took place in Moscow on November 23, 1900. Vsevolod Buyukli performed it for the first time. 9790660006467.
