Contains 20 engraved portraits of actors in character by Cooper alongside biographies of the actors. As with other copies of this scarce volume, the frontis is of Mr Kean, rather than Mrs Siddons as originally intended. Some discolouration to the edges of the plates and foxing on text pages.
