No Jacket. blue boards, with some shelf wear, some wear to corners and edges, some handling marks, a good tight clean copy. no date but no mention of the second war, with some cameos of great careers, (all men) subtitled a practical guide to the choice of trade or profession, with 25 illustrations. from accountant to woollen manufacturor. so many careers closed to girls, so few opportunities, but this blast from the past shows what our great grandmothers/grandmothers had to contend with. why were Air licences valid for men longer than they were for women?? full of sexist remarks and so out dated - make an ideal present for an aspiring Human Resource person or careers advisor ! I only wish I had the nerve to send it to Bethan of RCT who is the most useless HR person I ever came across. Book.
