Sir William Chandler Roberts-Austen 1843-1902 was an English metallurgist noted for his research on the physical properties of metals and their alloys. The austenite class of iron alloys is named after him. Levi Leone, 1821-1888. English jurist and statistician. His chief work, History of British Commerce and of the Economic Progress of the British Nation, 1763-1870, is considered to be a partisan account of British economic development. This work was developed in the next few years and was considered in a paper of 1888 that was an early example of the interpretation of the properties of a range of elements in terms of the periodic classification of the elements."
