In very good light tan cloth boards, author's initials and brown wheat sheaf to front and brown titles to spine. The boards are clean, flat and firm; spine ends a little bumped. Clean pictorial front end papers by C Walter Hodges after Stubbs' 'The Reapers'. The rear free end paper is lightly tanned. Slightly tanned cut edges. The text block is tightly bound, straight and unmarked - very good - and with attractive 'decorations' by C Walter Hodges. No dedications etc. In fair pictorial dust jacket with church and man by tree and red titles. The jacket is a little marked around the edges, with a tear from base of spine about half way up; the edges are worn. Price clipped.
