Ex-library, with related markings; general soiling and wear; scattered foxing. Fair to good overall. 8vo. pp xxii, 478. Original publisher's red cloth lettered gilt at spine with blind lettering and illustration of the Japanese flag on top of the Coat of Arms of Russia at front. Illustrated with black and white plates throughout and one fold-out map at rear. Pages foxed and particularly at prelims, endpapers and page edges. Spine faded with fraying at edges and some pieces coming away at the top, some markings at cloth, else binding firm and all plates present. Good.
