Dust jacket with toning, scratches, and staining as well as a few nicks and minor tearing; front flap is not price-clipped. Black cloth with bright gilt stamping to front board. Two patches of surface peeli…ng to front pastedown from removal of unrelated item; author's blue ink signature on front free endpaper followed by past owner's three-line black ink inscription "1987 | HKNC | Anne Marie Lamb" who apparently was a staff psychologist at the Helen Keller National Center; taped to half-title page is a printed poem which may or may not be by Smithdas. Laid-in at rear endpapers is edge-toned two sheet typescript titled "Biography of Dr. Robert J. Smithdas." Binding is firm.
