An Sarah Maria Sandbach (geb. van Capellen, 1807-89), zweite Gattin des Liverpooler Friedensrichters und Kaufmanns William Robertson Sandbach (1813-91), mit der Bitte, Herrn Mayer ihren Dank für ein ihr zugesandtes Buch - ein "Meisterwerk" - zu bestellen, und über ihre schlechte Verfassung, die es ihr nicht erlaube, länger zu schreiben: "I have received your title and I beg you to thank Mr. Mayer for the beautiful book which he sent me & which I highly value. It is quite a masterpiece & extremely interesting. I am unfortunately very unwell & can not write longer [.]". - Zwei Zeilen in Bleistift von nicht identifizierter Hand auf der zweiten Seite über den Wunsch der Königin, Schmuckstücke aus Gagat (Jett oder Pechkohle) zu sehen: "I recieved [!] H. M. commands to show her some Jet ornaments [.]".

An den Rath der Stadt Mömpelgard gerichtetes Dankschreiben für Neujahrswünsche: "Es ist Mir ganz besonders lieb gewesen, daß Mir die Herren bey der vorgewesenen Jahres-Veränderung so wohlmeynend gratuliren wollen; und gleich wie Ich derer selben beständiges Wohlergehen jederzeit mit Vergnügen vernehmen werde; also wünsche Ich auch eine fortwährende glückliche Continuation daran [.]". - Elisabeth Friederike Sophie war eine Nichte Friedrich des Großen und wurde von Casanova als schönste Prinzessin Deutschlands gerühmt. 1748 heiratete sie Herzog Karl Eugen von Württemberg. Die Ehe verlief unglücklich; 1758 verließ die Herzogin den württembergischen Hof und ließ sich in Neustadt an der Aisch nieder. 1763 erbte sie von ihrem Vater Markgraf Friedrich III. von Brandenburg-Bayreuth das Schloss Fantaisie. Dort entfaltete die Herzogin ein geistreiches und glanzvolles Hofleben. - Mit Spuren von alter Montage und geringfügigem Textverlust durch Ausriss.

J`espère que nous vous reverons, chère Albertine, avec votre mari, vos enfants."Translated:"My dear AlbertineI thank you for your good letter of 25th, the best wishes that you form for us, and that I return to you with all my heart. I hope we will see you again, dear Albertine, with your husband, your children .".
