From the personal library of the Elton John Lyricist, Bernie Taupin, with Bernie Taupin's and Toni Taupin's circular embossed ownership stamps blind-stamped to the lower edge of the front end-paper. Nice association of a famous multi-academy Award winning lyricist's collection, in ownership of another famous Academy Award winning lyricist. Webster was a songwriter and lyricist who won three Academy Awards, and a Grammy Award for THE SHADOW OF YOUR SMILE, and wrote an extensive lists of songs that made popular hits charts. A quality book production with a beautiful sturdy binding, heavy coated stock paper, with high-resolution print and illustrations. One-hundred-eighty-one lots/items are catalogued with lengthy detailed descriptions, many complimented with color or B&W illustrations. A prices realized sheet is laid in. This collection of books and manuscripts ranges over 600 years, and represents fine examples of thought, artistry, and culture.
