Some softening, a small stain and a lean to the spine, but nonetheless the spine and page block remain tight and firm. Loss of colour and bumping to spine ends. A hint of grubbiness to boards. Age related foxing and toning to page block and some page edges. Previous owner's name written neatly. Tiny sticker from historic bookseller to front pastedown. The Poor condition dust wrapper has areas of loss particularly to the spine, the top edge and to the fold over sections. The wrapper is also grubby and discoloured especially to the spine. Nonetheless the vast majority of the wrapper is still present and the pictorial design and text on the wrapper are both present and easily visible/readable. The wrapper is not price clipped and is now protected by a removable archival cover. The book contains a multitude of black and white drawings, designs and "exploded" engine illustrations.

Slight rubbing to edges of card wraps especially to corners and slight slight browning to spine, bottom of spine is split to front and rear but wraps are now protected in a special removable clear protective paperback sleeve. Very clean copy internally with little wear just some browning to page edges. Overall a really nice condition copy of an almost one hundred year old paperback. Happy to supply photos on request. I've listed as a hardback - but it is in-between! - as the book is in pictorial, paper-covered, thin boards, and could be described as either paperback or hardback! Some marks/creases/rubs/chips to the covers, and a former owner has written his name and location in white (Tippex? ) on the top of the front cover, and lower down his name and address also in white. The spine and front hinge look as if they have been re-glued at some point in the past, but the book is sound and complete. Internally the paper is lightly and uniformly browned with age, but generally is very clean tight and bright with the odd light patch/stain in just a few places. Overall a nice period copy. 30 pages (unpaginated) consisting of b/w Adverts and the half Title, the Title page, the index, etc. Followed by 153 pages. Illustrated here and there in b/w. Delightful! SEE IMAGES. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall.
