Stefan Eins, who founded Fashion Moda in 1978, had moved to NYC from Austria in 1968 and opened a space on Mercer Street called the Stefan Eins Store to show his art in 1973, and other artists such as Sherrie Levine, Susan Hiller and Willoughby Sharp from 1974-1977.
