It has wonderful full color plates as well as black and white pictures. Filled with rich history and detailed information. Great collectors series! This larger soft cover is in very good condition. The co…lor plate on the front is actually raised not just printed on. The binding is tight and pages are clean. The cover does have some bumps and scuffs and minor aging. Masterful.

Both Archers were prolific letterpress printers, deeply involved in the California fine press renaissance of the 1940s and 50s, where they were closely associated with Lewis and Dorothy Allen, the Grabhorns, and William Everson.
