He returned to his Northport ancestral home in 1979 where he was involved in many community activities and also completed this autobiography. The front free endpaper wass removed (probably contained a previous owner's name), else this is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book (two pages have a very tiny crimp to top corner). ; B&W Illustrations; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 484 pages.
