Bindings Worn, Mostly On Spine, With Upper And Lower Edges Worn Away; Paper Covered Boards Once Had Calf Tips Which Are Now Lacking. Boards Worn On Edges But Most Of Paper Is Still Present. No Names Or Marks Or Bookplates. This Edition With The New Material Is Quite Scarce, Worldcat Reporting Only Three Institutional Copies. Friedrich Freiherr Von Der Trenck (1726 -1794) Was A Prussian Officer, Adventurer, And Author. By The Order Of Austria, Von Der Trenck Was Sent As An Observer Of The Events Of The French Revolution To Paris, Where He Was Accused As A Spy And Executed By The Guillotine On 25 July 1794, Two Days Before The Fall Of Robespierre And The End Of The Terror.
