Verboquet, comédien rouennais voulut publier un recueil de contes comme l'avait déjà fait le sieur Du Moulinet. La première partie, "Les Délices", contient 39 contes facétieux et quant aux "Subtiles rencontres", il s'agit d'un recueil de bons mots.
