Brown cloth rubbed with some staining and mottling, spine sunned with bumping and fraying at ends. Edges foxed and toned; original ink ownership inscription on front free endpaper amended with later owner's pencil inscription; markings and notes mostly in pencil but occasionally in ink amongst text; scattered soiling and staining to interior pages as well. Binding is firm. A good copy. Scarce Mississippi bookseller's price sticker of approximately 2cm square affixed to front pastedown; "Hegman's | On the Corner | Yazoo City, Miss." printed at top half with bottom half (printed horizontal division line) having handwritten ink price.
