A tabloid-format newsletter for the San Francisco homophile organization S.I.R. was an extremely… important homophile organization in the 1960s and 1970s in San Francisco. They published "Vector Magazine" and produced all-male stage shows of classic theatre as well as the Coronation events. More inclined to entertainment and less political than Mattachine or One, Inc. they were still quite influential especially in the Bay Area. Only 4 copies located in OCLC as of 12/2014.

ALL plates are present & all but one (p. 306, Sindbad's third voyage) are virtually flawless: clear & richly hued with white margins. The Sindbad plate stuck to the opposite page, & has some paper residue adhering. With black cloth over boards, lettered in gilt to spine, & a Parrish paper pastedown to front board, this hardcover small 4to book is in Near Fine condition! Exceptionally clean, binding strong & straight, hinges secure, pages creamy white with a whisper of tanning, else unmarked. Very mild rubbing to spine tips & all corners, with very slight fraying to bottom outer corner of front board. A few slightly rubbed spots to rear board. A beauty!
