Livre
Hardcover. Etat : Fair. No Jacket. 2nd Edition. Extremely detailed and extensive exposition of information needed for the manufacturing of tools. 103 sections plus index are numbered separately. References and bibliography within each section. 359 individual authors and contributors to articles. Frank W. Wilson, editor-in-chief, continued in his role from the 1st edition of 1949. This second edition of 1959 relied heavily on the American Society of Tool Engineers (ASTME) who formed 28 revision groups to write and edit these revised sections. ASTME held the copyright. Hardcover has burgundy cloth boards with gold lettering, but no DJ. This was a working copy of a consulting engineer which has some damage due to handling mishaps caused by size and weight of book. Some pages torn but repaired with tape, bumped coners, compression folds and has been wet on edges from being carried outdoors. Ffep has been removed. Prior owner's name on rear paste-down and sporadically through book. Adds no value. Interior is tight, with no marks noted within text. Copyrights 1959 & 1949. Stated 2nd edition. 1959 on title page implies this copy printed in 1959. 1st printing assumed. No ISBN, LCCN nor MSR. Due to oversize and weight, additional shipping may be required for expedited or out of USA orders. Prior Owner Name No Value.
