This copy does not have the geologic map. Pencil name of prominent geologist Edwin E. Howell. Howell was a geologist with USGS who worked on the surveys west of the Rockies and also worked with John Wesley Powell on the USGS survey of the Rockies. As a cartographer he created some of the best raised relief maps of his era. SCARCE.
