Only the lightly faded spine and tanned edges keep this copy from being Near Fine. " Published in arrangement with Charles Scribner's Sons" on title page, and "Published October 1908." on verso.

Light toning to edges and margins. Just a touch of toning to spine, and some light wear to cloth. Near fine. A popular historical novel set in Indiana during the American War of Independence.
